Wheel-Trans Trip Booking Now On TTC Website

Wheel-Trans customers can now book their trips on-line on the TTC’s new website. Customers just have to click on the Wheel-Trans icon and follow instructions, or go directly to mywheel-trans.ttc.ca.

Booking online is quick and easy and it guarantees that customers will no longer have to endure the long periods of time dealing with busy signals or waiting on the phone queue.

Wheel-Trans launched internet trip booking in June of 2008 at the People in Motion Show and already over 250 trips are being booked daily using this method, which is about 4% of total trips. Customers can continue to book their trips by calling a Wheel-Trans reservationist, or by using the automated touch tone system (Rideline) as their other options.

TTC Chair Adam Giambrone recently visited with Wheel-Trans customer Anne Sloman at her Toronto home for a demonstration. Ms. Sloman, who was selected to test and provide recommendations for the new Wheel-Trans internet trip booking application, showed Chair Giambrone just how simple it is to book her rides on-line.
