The TTC’s Easier Access Program is making subway stations accessible. Construction at Rosedale is underway and scheduled to be completed in mid 2025. Details on the design, construction and schedule are available at the following link - Pre-construction Community Information (PDF).

The project will provide a barrier-free path to all levels of the station and include installation of:

Two elevators
Improved signage
CCTV security cameras

Project update

Market conditions have changed since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic concerning the cost of work and the availability of materials which impacted work to make the station accessible. Labour strikes in mid-2022 by several unions also directly impacted the progress of construction work. This included crane and heavy equipment operators, carpenters, and other labourers that are critical to Easier Access work. Project schedules have been reviewed and elevators are scheduled to be in service at Rosedale Station by mid-2025.
