Watermain and Track Renewal

Queen Street East

Work details

The City has identified emergency sewer repair work along Queen Street East. Due to the sewer access overlapping with the streetcar track and watermain replacement work zone, planned work along Queen Street East will pause and resume in January 2026. The emergency repairs will begin on November 27 and is anticipated to take 2-3 weeks to complete.

TTC service changes effective November 22 will remain in place for the emergency work.
