New Grad Programs
At the TTC, we’re committed to developing the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers. To support this goal, we offer two specialized New Grad Programs that provide recent graduates with a strong foundation for long-term career growth within our organization.
These programs are designed with professional development in mind, offering structured pathways, mentorship, and real-world experience to help graduates transition smoothly into the workforce while contributing to the future of transit in Toronto.
Information Technology Services (ITS) New Grad Program
This program is designed for students from technology-focused disciplines such as Computer Science, Information Technology, and Business Technology Management. Participants join our ITS team to support and enhance the TTC’s digital infrastructure—working on both foundational systems and emerging technologies.
New grads receive:
- Hands-on experience through meaningful projects
- One-on-one mentorship from experienced professionals
- A career development plan tailored to future growth at the TTC
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) New Grad Program
Our EIT Program supports graduates in Mechanical, Electrical, and other engineering disciplines. Designed as a structured development pipeline, this program prepares new engineers for future licensure and long-term technical leadership roles within the TTC.
Participants benefit from:
- A rotational training model
- Formal mentorship
- Opportunities to contribute to high-impact engineering projects
The EIT Program plays a key role in addressing the TTC’s growing need for licensed engineering talent.
