-
What if I lose my PRESTO card?
If you have a My PRESTO Account (registered card), you can report your lost card by calling PRESTO’s Contact Centre at 1-877-378-6123 or by visiting prestocard.ca. Your PRESTO card will be cancelled, and your balance and/or Monthly Pass can be transferred to a new PRESTO card. You may be required to purchase a new card for $4.
-
How does Autorenew work?
Autorenew is available for TTC 12-Month passes and allows your pass to be automatically renewed each year. You can set up and manage Autorenew through your My PRESTO Account at prestocard.ca, or by mail using the Autorenew form from the PRESTO Paper Forms page. You only need to sign up once. Autorenew can be set up online using a credit card or Visa Debit. If you would like to set up your Autorenew using your bank account (pre-authorized debit), please use a paper form.
Please note: Autorenew is discontinued for Standard TTC Monthly passes as these passes will no longer be available once monthly fare capping starts on September 1, 2026.

Will I stop paying once I reach the monthly pass value ($156 for Adults or $128.15 for Youths, Students and Seniors)?
No. Under the current system, you must purchase a TTC Monthly Pass to receive unlimited travel for the month. Please note: Monthly fare capping starts September 1, 2026.

Can I load a Monthly Pass when ordering a PRESTO card online?
Yes, but you must activate the card after it arrives. Activation requires the 17-digit PRESTO number and PIN.

Can I cancel my Monthly or 12-Month pass for a partial refund?
No. Monthly passes expire at the end of each month; 12-Month passes expire at the end of each year. Refunds are not provided for mid-month or mid-year cancellation.
Please note: Monthly fare capping starts September 1, 2026. With fare capping, customers will only pay up to a monthly maximum, removing the need for monthly pass refunds if the full value is not reached.
