line 1 (yonge-university)–Osgoode to College stations – Nightly early closures starting at 11:59 p.m. - Thursday, December 4 to Friday, December 5, 2025
Effective December 4, 2025 to December 5, 2025
Subway service on Line 1 between Osgoode to College stations will end nightly at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, December 4 to Friday, December 5 for planned track work.
Shuttle buses will be operating. TTC staff will be available to assist customers. Wheel-Trans service will be available for any customer requiring assistance.
King and Queen stations will be closed. All other subway stations will remain open for customers to purchase or load a PRESTO card, PRESTO Ticket and connect to surface routes.
Here are alternative surface and subway routes for customers to connect to Line 1*:
Queen’s Park Station – Take a 506 Carlton streetcar eastbound to College Station.
94 Wellesley – The 94 Wellesley bus connects to Wellesley Station. This route operates between Ossington and Castle Frank stations.
St Patrick Station – Take a 505 Dundas streetcar eastbound to Dundas Station.
Osgoode Station – Take a 501 Queen streetcar eastbound to Yonge Street and Adelaide Street West. From there, you have two options:
Option 1: Walk for approximately two minutes south to King Station.
Option 2: Walk approximately five minutes north to Queen Station.
*With the exception of College Station, all of the stations listed above are accessible.
Regular subway service will resume each morning at approximately 6 a.m.
While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the end of service each night, it continues to require early weeknight and weekend closures to complete state-of-good-repair work.
