Coxwell Avenue from Lower Gerrard to Upper Gerrard - streetcar overhead wiring upgrades

What we are doing and why

The TTC is upgrading overhead wiring across the streetcar network. On Monday, November 17, and Tuesday, November 18, crews will upgrade the streetcar overhead wiring along Coxwell Avenue, between Lower Gerrard Street East and Upper Gerrard Street East. These upgrades are essential to ensuring safe and reliable streetcar service.

 

What to expect during construction

TTC crews will work in the west curb lane along Coxwell Avenue, between Lower Gerrard Street East and Upper Gerrard Street East

 

Workdays and hours

Monday, November 17 and Tuesday, November 18, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. each day.

 

Construction equipment

Work trucks will be positioned in the west curb lane along Coxwell Avenue to facilitate the required work.

Traffic impacts

Travel along Coxwell Avenue will not be impacted, as crews will only work in the west curb lane.

TTC service impacts
