Early Morning Concrete Pour at Vaughan Metropolitan Centre Station, April 30, 2016

April 28, 2016

On Saturday, April 30, 2016, there will be a concrete pour for the future Vaughan Metropolitan Centre Subway Station. The concrete pour will take place on the Highway 7 construction site (west of Jane Street) and will last approximately 16 hours.

Work Hours

The work will occur on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 4:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

There will be no additional lane restrictions associated with the work.

Motorists are to obey Paid Duty Police Officers and traffic signs.  Please use extra care when travelling through the construction zone, on Highway 7 between Interchange Way and Jane Street.

Construction Activity

All work will be contained within the construction site.

Construction vehicles will enter and exit the site from the gate on Highway 7.

Expect  an increased volume of construction vehicles activity in this area during the concrete pour, as well as noise from construction vehicles while backing up. Every effort will be made by the contractor to minimize construction noise.
