Line Painting on Highway 7 West of Jane Street, March 4, 2014

March 3, 2014

There will be lane restrictions on Highway 7 west of Jane Street on March 4, 2014, after the morning rush hour, for line painting work. The lane restrictions will occur only after the morning rush hour and flag personnel will be directing traffic and pedestrians. Two lanes will remain open westbound and two lanes will remain open eastbound. In the case of bad weather the line painting will be postponed. Due to the nature of the work, motorists may face traffic delays.

Motorists please obey all signs and slow down through this construction zone.

Work Hours

The work will occur after the morning rush hour.

The City of Vaughan has approved a noise by-law amendment which allows the contractor to perform overnight and weekend work when required to minimize long term disruption and to keep the project on schedule.

YRT Bus Route Services

Transit delays may be experienced on YRT/Viva Highway 7/Centre 77 Route and the Brampton 501 Route.

Please use extra care when travelling on Highway 7 between Interchange Way and Jane Street.
