Overnight Work at Keele Street and Finch Avenue West, November 21, 2013

November 18, 2013

Concrete pours continue this week for the future Finch West Subway Station. Overnight construction will take place beginning at 3:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2013. Permitted overnight work includes concrete pours. During the work, there will be construction related noise from trucks and equipment. Work will take place in the Keele-Finch neighbourhood beginning at 3 a.m. on November 21, 2013. There are no road closures associated with the work on November 21, 2013.

Work Hours

The City of Toronto normal working hours are 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. However, the City of Toronto has approved a noise by-law amendment for major transit projects which allows contractors to perform overnight and weekend work for the duration of the project, when required. Extended work hours are expected to occur within the hoarded construction site in the Keele-Finch neighbourhood.
