Eastbound Highway 7 Lane Restrictions West of Jane Street Truck Entrance/Exit

September 6, 2012

Between September 10 through October 5, 2012 a temporary truck entrance will be established at the east end of the current barrier curb lane on Highway 7 West of Jane Street and will be restricted by trucks slowing to turn off the road and enter the construction site. A flagperson will be on duty. Due to the nature of the work, motorists may face traffic delays.

Motorists please obey all flagpersons and signs and slow down through this construction zone.

Work Hours

The City of Vaughan has approved a noise by-law amendment which allows the contractor to perform overnight and weekend work when required to minimize long term disruption and to keep the project on schedule.

YRT Bus Route Services

Transit delays may be experienced on YRT/Viva Highway 7/Centre 77 Route and the Brampton 501 Route.

Please use extra care when travelling on Highway 7 between Interchange Way and Jane Street. This section of Highway 7 continues to be posted at a reduced speed limit of 50 km/h.

Pedestrian Access/Walkways

Sidewalks will remain open on the north side of Highway 7 to maintain pedestrian access during this portion of construction. Please take extra care while travelling near construction.
