Scarborough Centre Station - south pedestrian bridge structural rehab
September 10 to January 31, 2021
What we are doing and why
On Thursday, September 10, the TTC began construction work on the pedestrian bridge rehabilitation project at Scarborough Centre Station as part of the state of good repair program. Work on the pedestrian bridge was scheduled to be completed by the end of 2020. Some extra time is required to complete all the work and completion date has been extended to January 31, 2021.
Waterproofing of the pedestrian bridge will take place over the next few weeks. Project updates will be provided at regular intervals. Efforts will be made to keep noise and dust to a minimum.
Work hours
Work will take place Monday to Friday daytime 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional daytime weekend work will be required and take place between 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
TTC service
During this work, the station will remain open and bus service will be maintained at Scarborough Centre Station.
