501 Queen - Streetcar restrictions during several construction projects - November 26 update

Ongoing route changes will occur during multiple road, track and bridge work on Queen Street, The Queensway and Lake Shore Boulevard, and improvements at Humber Loop.

The 501 Queen streetcar route operates between Neville Park Loop and Long Branch Loop, generally in an east-west direction. It serves Queen and Osgoode Stations on Line 1 Yonge-University. Both Queen and Osgoode Stations are accessible subway stations.

The route is part of the 10 Minute Network, and operates 10 minutes or better, all day, every day.

Two services are operated. The 501 (Neville Park-Roncesvalles) branch, operates at all times, seven days a week. The 501L (Dufferin-Long Branch) branch, temporarily operated with buses, operates at all times, seven days a week.

Westbound 501 RONCESVALLES

Buses operate from Neville Park Loop (on the southwest corner of Queen Street East and Nursewood Road) via west on Queen Street East, west on Queen Street West and west on The Queensway to Sunnyside Loop.

Eastbound 501 NEVILLE PARK

Buses operate from Sunnyside Loop via east on The Queensway, east on Queen Street West, and east on Queen Street East to Neville Park Loop.

Westbound 501L LONG BRANCH

Buses operate from Dufferin Gate Loop via north on Dufferin Street, west on Queen Street West, west on The Queensway, south on Windermere Avenue and west on Lake Shore Blvd West to Long Branch Loop.

Eastbound 501L DUFFERIN

Buses operate from Long Branch Loop via east on Lake Shore Boulevard West, north on Windermere Avenue, east on The Queensway, east on Queen Street West, and south on Dufferin Street to Dufferin Gate Loop.

All buses on the route serve local stops along the route.
