PRESTO cards can be used to pay one of the double fares required on this bus. The additional fare must be paid by token, ticket or cash.

All TTC buses (except Community and Wheel-Trans buses) have bike racks so that you can bring your bike with you on your journey. Depending on the bus type, bike racks can hold one or two bikes. The racks are easy to load and unload, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

All accessories must be removed from the bike prior to loading as they may impede operators' sight lines. Please remove water bottles, air pumps, panniers, child carriers, solid baskets, bags and other loose items before boarding. The Operator has the right to refuse use of the bike rack to keep clear sightlines.

The 141 Downtown / Mt Pleasant Express bus route operates between the area of Eglinton Avenue East and Mt. Pleasant Road and the Downtown Toronto area, generally in a north-south direction. It also passes within one block of the Queen, Osgoode, St. Andrew and King Stations on the Yonge-University-Spadina Subway. Accessible service is provided on the route. Both Queen Station and Osgoode Station are accessible subway stations. Bike racks are available on this route.

One single service is operated: the 141 (Downtown-Eglinton) branch operates during the peak periods, from Monday to Friday only. Four SOUTHBOUND-ONLY trips are operated during the morning peak period, and two NORTHBOUND-ONLY trips are operated during the afternoon peak period.

Southbound 141 DOWNTOWN EXPRESS / EXTRA FARE

During the morning peak period from Monday to Friday only, these buses operate from Eglinton Avenue East and Redpath Avenue via north on Redpath Avenue, east on Erskine Avenue, south on Mt. Pleasant Road, south on Jarvis Street, west on Richmond Street, south on Peter Street, and east on Adelaide Street to Church Street. Southbound 141 buses operate LOCAL from Eglinton Avenue East and Redpath Avenue to Mt. Pleasant Road and St. Clair Avenue East; 141 buses then operate EXPRESS from Mt. Pleasant Road and St. Clair Avenue East to Jarvis Street and Richmond Street, stopping only at Elm Avenue, Charles Street East, Wellesley Street East, Carlton Street, Dundas Street East, and Queen Street East; 141 buses then operate LOCAL through downtown, from Jarvis Street and Richmond Street to Adelaide Street and Church Street.

Northbound 141 MT PLEASANT EXPRESS TO EGLINTON / EXTRA FARE

During the afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday only, these buses operate from Jarvis Street and Richmond Street via west on Richmond Street, south on Peter Street, east on Adelaide Street, north on Jarvis Street, north on Mt. Pleasant Road, west on Erskine Avenue, and south on Redpath Avenue to Eglinton Avenue East. Northbound 141 buses operate LOCAL through downtown, from Jarvis Street and Richmond Street to Adelaide Street and Jarvis Street; 141 buses then operate EXPRESS from Adelaide Street and Jarvis Street to Mt. Pleasant Road and St. Clair Avenue East, stopping only at Queen Street East, Dundas Street East, Carlton Street, Wellesley Street East, Charles Street East, Elm Avenue, and St. Clair Avenue East; 141 buses then operate LOCAL from Mt. Pleasant Road and St. Clair Avenue East to Redpath Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East.

The 141 DOWNTOWN EXPRESS buses serve local bus stops north of St. Clair Avenue East and south of Queen Street only.
