Subway service to end early on portion of TTC Line 1 next Mon.-Thurs.

Mon., Aug. 31 through Thurs., Sept. 3, subway service on the portion of Line 1 between Sheppard-Yonge and Eglinton stations will end nightly at 11 p.m. for track maintenance and ATC signal upgrades.
- TTC begins recalling laid off operators and increasing service as schools reopen
August 27, 2020 - In preparation for an expected bump in ridership when schools begin to re-open in September, the TTC is recalling 150 of 450 laid off operators with the balance to be recalled as more customers return.
- TTC and City of Toronto seek input on new RapidTO services on Eglinton Ave. East and Jane corridors
August 26, 2020 - TTC customers can have their say on service options for the new RapidTO bus-only corridors along Eglinton Ave. E. and Jane St.
- Portion of TTC Line 1 to close this Sunday only
August 26, 2020 - This Sun., Aug. 30 only, the portion of Line 1 between Lawrence and St Clair stations will be closed to allow Metrolinx crews to continue work on the Eglinton Crosstown LRT.
- TTC customers begin receiving PRESTO pro-rated credits today
August 21, 2020 - Beginning today, Friday, August 21, TTC customers using PRESTO will begin receiving pro-rated credits for unused portions of March and April monthly passes.
- Portion of TTC Line 1 closed for track, signal work this weekend
August 20, 2020 - TTC crews will carry out extensive track and ATC signal upgrades and improvements this weekend. As a result there will be no subway service on Line 1 between Finch and St Clair stations on Sat., August 22 and Sun., August 23.

August 12, 2020 - An early closure on a portion of Line 1 and a late opening on a portion of Line 2 is scheduled this week.

August 6, 2020 - Tues., Aug. 4 through Thurs., Aug. 6, subway service on the portion of Line 2 between St George and Woodbine stations will end nightly at 11 p.m. for track work.
