Upcoming TTC Subway Closures

Tomorrow
Tomorrow, Thurs., Aug. 13, subway service on the portion of Line 1 between Eglinton and Bloor-Yonge stations will end at 11 p.m. due to track work.
Replacement shuttle buses will run frequently, stopping at each station along the route. TTC staff will be on hand to direct customers to shuttle boarding and offloading locations, which will vary from station to station. The University side of Line 1 will be also be available as an alternative.
Summerhill Station will be closed but all other stations will remain open for fare sales and access to surface routes and Line 2. Customers requiring Wheel-Trans should speak to any TTC customer service staff member for assistance.
Saturday
This Sat., Aug. 15, subway service on Line 2 between St George and Pape stations will begin by noon to accommodate beam replacement on the Prince Edward (Bloor) Viaduct.
Bay, Sherbourne and Chester stations will be closed. All other stations will remain open for fare sales and access to surface routes and Line 1.
Customers requiring Wheel-Trans should speak to any TTC customer service staff member for assistance.
While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the conclusion of service each night, it continues to require weekend and early weeknight closures to complete critical infrastructure and ATC upgrades.
