  • TTC recognizes employee excellence, names 2018 Employee of the Year
    February 27, 2019
    At an event last evening to celebrate employee excellence, the TTC honoured the members of the Streetcar Overhead Team as its Employees of the Year for 2018.
  • TTC Audit & Risk Management Committee and TTC Board to hold meetings next week
    February 21, 2019 - Both the TTC Board and its Audit and Risk Management Committee will meet next week.
  • Portion of Line 1 closed this weekend for signal upgrades
    February 20, 2019 - This weekend, Feb. 23-24, the portion of Line 1 between St Clair West and Union stations will be closed as TTC crews continue installation of the Automated Train Control (ATC) signal system.
  • TTC campaign urges customers to stay off the tracks
    February 7, 2019 - This week, the TTC is launching a system-wide public awareness campaign about the dangers of trespassing on TTC tracks. Last year, 110 incidents of trespassing resulted in more than 1,570 minutes of delays to TTC customers.
  • Portion of TTC's Line 1 to close this weekend
    February 6, 2019 - This weekend, Feb. 9-10, there will be no service on Line 1 Yonge-University between Lawrence and St Clair stations while Metrolinx crews continue construction of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, which is scheduled to open in 2021.
  • TTC revises Line 1 closure this weekend
    February 1, 2019 - The TTC is advising customers that this weekend's planned subway closure on Line 1 has been revised as crews continue installation of the Automated Train Control (ATC) signal system.
