As part of the TTC’s continuing modernization efforts the turnstiles at the main entrance and high gates at the automatic entrances to Scarborough Centre Station will be replaced with new paddle-style fare gates.

Construction at the main entrance is scheduled to start on Sept. 29.

  • Construction will be done in two phases.
  • Customers will enter the station the station through a temporary station collector or through the collector booth aisle.
  • The collector booth will be closed during the second phase of construction. During the closure customers will not be able to purchase tickets, tokens or TTC passes from this station. Customers will enter the station through a temporary station collector.
  • A PRESTO card reader will be available both phases of construction.

Construction at the Brian Harrison Way automatic entrance is scheduled to start on Sept. 28.

  • The entrance will be closed from 11 p.m. Sept. 28 until the middle of January 2018.
  • When construction is complete customers will only be able to access this entrance with a TTC pass or PRESTO card only.

Construction at the GO Bus automatic entrance is scheduled to start on Oct. 2.

The entrance will close at 11 p.m. on Oct. 2. It will be closed until mid-November.
When construction is complete customers will only be able to access this entrance with a PRESTO card.
