March 15: The first employee works in the Construction Department. The individual developed symptoms on March 10. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on March 13, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 8, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The second employee works at North York Centre. The individual developed symptoms on March 9. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on March 11, 2021. The individual last reported to work on December 22, 2020, and is currently self-isolating at home.

March 13: The employee is a Bus Operator who works at Malvern Division. The individual developed symptoms on March 9. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, March 13, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 8, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

March 12: The first employee is a Workcar Operator who works in the Subway Infrastructure Department. The individual developed symptoms on March 10. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, March 12, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 9, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The second employee is a Handyperson who works in the Plant Maintenance Department. The individual developed symptoms on March 10. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, March 12, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 10, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The third employee is a Bus Operator who works at Birchmount Division. The individual developed symptoms on March 9. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, March 12, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 8, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The fourth employee is a Bus Operator who works at Wilson Division. The individual is asymptomatic. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on February 26, 2021. The individual last reported to work on January 25, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The fifth employee is a Bus Operator who works at Wilson Division. The individual is asymptomatic. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on March 10,2021. The individual last reported to work on January 25, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

March 11: The employee works in the Construction Department. The individual developed symptoms on March 10. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, March 11, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 7, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

March 10: The first individual is a Contractor who works at Arrow Road Garage. The individual developed symptoms on March 6. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on March 8, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 6, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The second employee is a Bus Operator who works at Eglinton Division. The individual developed symptoms on February 26. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, March 10, 2021. The individual last reported to work on February 4, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The third employee is a Bus Operator who works at Mount Dennis Division. The individual developed symptoms on March 8. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, March 10, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 8, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The fourth employee works at Harvey Shop. The individual developed symptoms on February 28. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, March 10, 2021. The individual last reported to work on February 26, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

March 9: The first employee works in the Construction Department. The individual developed symptoms on March 8. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, March 9, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 6, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The second employee is a Bus Operator who works at Eglinton Division. The individual developed symptoms on March 5. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, March 8, 2021. The individual last reported to work on February 19, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

March 8: The first employee is a Streetcar Operator who works at Leslie Barns Division. The individual developed symptoms on February 27. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on March 1, 2021. The individual last reported to work on February 26, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The second employee is a Light Rail Vehicle Technician who works at Leslie Barns Carhouse. The individual is asymptomatic. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, March 8, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 5, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The third employee is a Janitor who works in the Stations Department. The individual developed symptoms on March 4. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, March 7, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 2, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

March 7: The first employee works at Duncan Shop. The individual developed symptoms on March 2. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, March 6, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 2, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The second employee works at Transit Control. The individual developed symptoms on February 23. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, March 6, 2021. The individual last reported to work on February 20, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

Following TPH guidance on case and contact management, the TTC is assessing whether there were any close contacts with the individual while contagious, requiring self-isolation.

The TTC takes safety very seriously and considers the health and well-being of TTC employees of utmost importance. The TTC will continue to report information about positive diagnoses and publish the information on the TTC COVID-19 case update page on the TTC website at: http://www.ttc.ca/Riding_the_TTC/Safety_and_Security/Case_update.jsp. To date, 60 employees have returned to work since testing positive.

Please note, priority access is now available for TTC employees who are essential frontline workers or are required to support frontline work and are also exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19. If you develop new or worsening symptoms consistent with COVID-19 (see link above) or have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, stay home and contact Occupational Health at 416-393-4572 or OHEW@ttc.ca to be connected with a Disability Management Specialist (DMS). If you are eligible for testing, your DMS will provide you with a letter from Toronto Public Health recommending priority testing.

Important reminder: Safety notices advise employees with concerns about their personal health to contact their family doctor or Telehealth at 1-866-797-0000. Toronto Public Health has also set up a coronavirus hotline that provides the public with a place to get information, ask questions about this virus and connect with a health professional at 416-338-7600.
