January 29: The first employee is a Bus Operator who works at Arrow Road Division. The individual developed symptoms on January 18. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on January 21, 2021. The individual last reported to work on January 16, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The second employee is a Bus Operator who works at Arrow Road Division. The individual developed symptoms on January 24. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, January 28, 2021. The individual last reported to work on January 23, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The third employee works at Duncan Shop. The individual is asymptomatic. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, January 29, 2021. The individual last reported to work on January 24, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

January 28: The first employee is a Subway Operator who works at Wilson Division. The individual developed symptoms on January 20. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on January 25, 2021. The individual last reported to work on January 13, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The second employee is a Streetcar Operator who works at Leslie Barns. The individual developed symptoms on January 23. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, January 27, 2021. The individual last reported to work on January 23, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The third employee is a Bus Operator who works at Birchmount Division. The individual is asymptomatic. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, January 28, 2021. The individual last reported to work on January 22, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The fourth employee is a Bus Operator who works at Malvern Division. The individual developed symptoms on January 24. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, January 28, 2021. The individual last reported to work on January 22, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The fifth employee is a Bus Operator who works at Malvern Division. The individual was asymptomatic. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on January 8, 2021. The individual last reported to work on December 28, 2021. The individual is currently back at work after completing their self-isolation at home.

January 27: The first employee is an Electrician who works in the Plant Maintenance Department. The individual developed symptoms on January 25. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, January 27, 2021. The individual last reported to work on January 25, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The second employee is a Bus Operator who works at Arrow Road Division. The individual developed symptoms on January 26. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, January 27, 2021. The individual last reported to work on January 25, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The third employee is a Shop Services Clerk who works in the Bus Maintenance and Shops Department. The individual developed symptoms on January 14. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, January 27, 2021. The individual last reported to work on January 7, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The fourth employee is a Bus Operator who works at Queensway Division. The individual developed symptoms on January 19. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, January 27, 2021. The individual last reported to work on January 22, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The fifth employee works in Substations. The individual developed symptoms on January 21. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, January 27, 2021. The individual last reported to work on January 21, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The sixth employee is a Coach Technician who works at Duncan Shop. The individual developed symptoms on January 23. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, January 27, 2021. The individual last reported to work on January 22, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

January 26: The first employee is a Coach Technician who works at Duncan Shop. The individual is asymptomatic. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, January 25, 2021. The individual last reported to work on January 18, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The second employee is a Bus Operator who works at Queensway Division. The individual developed symptoms on January 24. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, January 26, 2021. The individual last reported to work on January 18, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

January 25: The first employee is a Vehicle Repairperson who works at Wilson Carhouse. The individual developed symptoms on January 19. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, January 25, 2021. The individual last reported to work on January 18, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The second employee is a Coach Technician who works at Birchmount Garage. The individual was asymptomatic. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on December 15, 2020. The individual last reported to work on December 1, 2020. The individual has completed their self-isolation at home and has since returned to work.

The third employee is a Bus Operator who works at Queensway Division. The individual developed symptoms on January 23. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, January 25, 2021. The individual last reported to work on January 23, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

January 24: The first employee is a Carhouse Helper who works in the Rail Cars and Shops Department. The individual developed symptoms on January 20. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, January 24, 2021. The individual last reported to work on January 19, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The second employee is an Operations Supervisor who works at Wilson Division. The individual developed symptoms on January 21. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, January 24, 2021. The individual last reported to work on January 21, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The third employee is an Electrician who works in the Subway Infrastructure Department. The individual developed symptoms on January 20. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, January 23, 2021. The individual last reported to work on January 20, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

Following TPH guidance on case and contact management, the TTC is assessing whether there were any close contacts with the individual while contagious, requiring self-isolation.

The TTC takes safety very seriously and considers the health and well-being of TTC employees of utmost importance. The TTC will continue to report information about positive diagnoses and publish the information on the TTC COVID-19 case update page on the TTC website at: http://www.ttc.ca/Riding_the_TTC/Safety_and_Security/Case_update.jsp. To date, 60 employees have returned to work since testing positive.

Please note, priority access is now available for TTC employees who are essential frontline workers or are required to support frontline work and are also exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19. If you develop new or worsening symptoms consistent with COVID-19 (see link above) or have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, stay home and contact Occupational Health at 416-393-4572 or OHEW@ttc.ca to be connected with a Disability Management Specialist (DMS). If you are eligible for testing, your DMS will provide you with a letter from Toronto Public Health recommending priority testing.

Important reminder: Safety notices advise employees with concerns about their personal health to contact their family doctor or Telehealth at 1-866-797-0000. Toronto Public Health has also set up a coronavirus hotline that provides the public with a place to get information, ask questions about this virus and connect with a health professional at 416-338-7600.
