The second individual is a contractor who works at Leslie Barns. The individual developed symptoms on March 31. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, April 2, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 31, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The third employee is an Operations Supervisor who works at Eglinton Division. The individual developed symptoms on April 2. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, April 3, 2021. The individual last reported to work on April 1, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The fourth employee is a Bus Operator who works at Queensway Division. The individual developed symptoms on March 31. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, April 3, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 30, and is currently self-isolating at home.

April 2: The first employee is a Streetcar Operator who works at Leslie Barns. The individual is asymptomatic. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, April 1, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 31, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The second employee is a Track Mechanic works in the Streetcar Infrastructure Department. The individual developed symptoms on March 24. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, April 1, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 18, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The third employee is a Carpenter who works in the Subway Infrastructure Department. The individual developed symptoms on March 31. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, April 2, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 31, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The fourth employee is a Streetcar Operator who works at Leslie Barns. The individual developed symptoms on March 28. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, April 2, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 31, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The fifth employee is a Carhouse Operator who works at Davisville Carhouse. The individual developed symptoms on March 28. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, April 2, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 31, and is currently self-isolating at home.

April 1: The first employee works in the Bus Maintenance and Shops Department at Harvey Shop. The individual developed symptoms on March 29. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, March 31, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 30, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The second employee is a Customer Service Agent who works in the Stations Department. The individual developed symptoms on March 27. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, March 31, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 26, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The third employee is a Bus Operator who works at Mount Dennis Division. The individual is asymptomatic. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, March 31, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 29, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The fourth employee is a Bus Operator who works at Mount Dennis Division. The individual developed symptoms on March 29. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, March 31, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 28, and is currently self-isolating at home.

March 31: The first employee is a Coach Technician who works at Duncan Shop. The individual is asymptomatic. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, March 31, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 26, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The second employee is a Coach Technician who works at Lakeshore Garage. The individual developed symptoms on March 29. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, March 30, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 28, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

March 30: The first employee is a Track Maintainer who works in the Streetcar Infrastructure Department. The individual developed symptoms on March 25. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on March 27, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 24, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The second employee is a Janitor who works at Hillcrest. The individual developed symptoms on March 23. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on March 27, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 22, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The third individual is a contract employee who works at McNicoll Garage. The individual developed symptoms on March 13. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, March 29, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 28, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The fourth employee works at Wheel-Trans Division. The individual developed symptoms on March 26. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, March 29, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 25, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The fifth employee is a Bus Operator who works at Arrow Road Division. The individual developed symptoms on March 24. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 on March 27, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 24, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The sixth employee is a Bus Operator who works at Arrow Road Division. The individual developed symptoms on March 25. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, March 30, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 25, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

March 29: The first employee works in the Elevating Devices Section of the Plant Maintenance Department. The individual developed symptoms on March 27. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, March 28, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 26, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The second employee is a Bus Operator who works at Eglinton Division. The individual developed symptoms on March 25. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, March 28, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 24, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The third employee is a Supervisor who works at Arrow Road Division. The individual is asymptomatic. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, March 29, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 25, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The fourth employee is a Bus Operator who works at Birchmount Division. The individual developed symptoms on March 25. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, March 28, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 23, 2021, and is currently self-isolating at home. 

March 28: The first employee is a Bus Operator who works at Eglinton Division. The individual developed symptoms on March 23. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, March 27, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 23, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The second employee is a Bus Operator who works at Birchmount Division. The individual developed symptoms on March 25. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, March 27, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 25, and is currently self-isolating at home.

The third employee is a Bus Operator who works at Birchmount Division. The individual developed symptoms on March 16. The individual tested positive for COVID-19 today, March 28, 2021. The individual last reported to work on March 24, and is currently self-isolating at home.

Following TPH guidance on case and contact management, the TTC is assessing whether there were any close contacts with the individual while contagious, requiring self-isolation.

The TTC takes safety very seriously and considers the health and well-being of TTC employees of utmost importance. The TTC will continue to report information about positive diagnoses and publish the information on the TTC COVID-19 case update page on the TTC website at: http://www.ttc.ca/Riding_the_TTC/Safety_and_Security/Case_update.jsp. To date, 60 employees have returned to work since testing positive.

Please note, priority access is now available for TTC employees who are essential frontline workers or are required to support frontline work and are also exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19. If you develop new or worsening symptoms consistent with COVID-19 (see link above) or have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, stay home and contact Occupational Health at 416-393-4572 or OHEW@ttc.ca to be connected with a Disability Management Specialist (DMS). If you are eligible for testing, your DMS will provide you with a letter from Toronto Public Health recommending priority testing.

Important reminder: Safety notices advise employees with concerns about their personal health to contact their family doctor or Telehealth at 1-866-797-0000. Toronto Public Health has also set up a coronavirus hotline that provides the public with a place to get information, ask questions about this virus and connect with a health professional at 416-338-7600.
