Bus Fleet

The TTC has more than 1,770 accessible buses running on more than 160 accessible routes. These buses are low-floor and equipped with a flip-ramp and kneeling feature. They will display blue lights on either side of the front destination sign and the blue international wheelchair symbol above the front right bumper. All fully accessible buses include two wheelchair/scooter positions.

Subway Fleet

All subway trains (and Scarborough RT trains) can be boarded by people with wheelchairs, scooters and other mobility devices. But the TTC’s T-1 subway trains make more than 50 per cent of the fleet fully accessible. These subway cars have a wheelchair/scooter position. T-1 trains run on all three subway lines: Bloor-Danforth, Yonge-University-Spadina and Sheppard.
