From Downsview Park Station to Vaughan Metropolitan Station - track installation is now complete on the Toronto-York Spadina Subway Extension.

On Sep 26 & 27, the TTC and its contractor poured more than 2,700 cubic metres of concrete for the roof of the York University Station.

Tunnel Boring Machines Yorkie and Torkie Double Breakthrough

On November 29, 2012 the Toronto-York Spadina Subway Extension's tunnel boring machines "Yorkie" and "Torkie" completed a rare double breakthrough at the extraction shaft located on Keele Street just north of Murray Ross Parkway.
