POSTPONED: TTC Busway Permanently Closes Between Tangiers Road and Keele Street, Tuesday, November 15, 2016

Construction continues in the Keele Street and Finch Avenue West neighbourhood.

Change to the Busway

The TTC Busway between Tangiers Road and Keele Street will permanently close on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 5 a.m. to allow the construction of the Finch West Station parking lot.  This closure will increase bus traffic flow on Tangiers Road and Murray Ross Parkway east of Keele Street.

TTC Bus Route

Transit delays may be experienced on the 196 York University Rocket, 107 Keele North and 41 Keele bus routes.

Motorists

Please reduce your speed and use extra care when traveling through construction areas. Your continued patience is greatly appreciated.

Pedestian Access/Walkways

Pedestrians should follow the posted signage and take extra care when walking near or around construction areas.

Work Hours

The busway closure will occur 5 a.m. on, Tuesday, November 15, 2016.  City of Toronto normal work hours at Finch West Station are 7a.m. to 7 p.m.

Proposed Bus Route Changes

TTC Bus

Review the proposed changes to bus routes in the area to connect to the new subway extension. The recommendations will be presented to the TTC board for approval in spring 2017.
