Early Morning at York University Concrete Pour Scheduled for May 7, 2015

A large concrete pour for the concourse level of the station box is scheduled for Thursday, May 7, 2015 at the future York University Station. The pour will begin at 6:00 a.m. and will continue until 4:00 p.m. During the work, there will be construction related noise from trucks and equipment. Work will take place in the Contractor Work Zone shown on the map below.  Permitted night work includes concrete pours.

Please note that the date is subject to change due to inclement weather.

Work Hours

• Construction activities will begin at 6:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on May 7, 2015.

The City of Toronto normal working hours are 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. However, the City of Toronto has approved a noise by-law amendment for major transit projects which allows contractors to perform overnight and weekend work for the duration of the project, when required.

As construction continues at the York University Site, construction related notices will be issued.
