July 2, 2015
On Saturday, July 4, 2015, there will be a major concrete pour beginning at 2:00 a.m. to support the main entrance of the future Vaughan Metropolitan Centre Subway Station. The concrete pour will take place on the north side of the construction site off of Highway 7 (west of Jane Street) and will last approximately 24 hours from 2:00 a.m. Saturday, July 4 until approximately 2:00 a.m. Sunday July 5, 2015. There are no lane restrictions associated with the work and all work will be contained within the construction site. However there will be an increased volume of construction vehicles in this area during the concrete pour.
During this concrete pour there will be some construction noise from construction vehicles backing up. Construction vehicles will enter and exit the site from the gate on Portage Parkway west of Jane Street. Every effort will be made by the contractor to minimize construction noise.

The work will occur on Saturday, July 4, 2015 from 2:00 a.m. to Sunday, July 5, 2015 at approximately 2:00 a.m.
