August 10, 2015
Beginning Monday, August 10, 2015, construction will commence 24 hours per day until Friday, August 14, 2015 at the York University Station construction site. Construction work will include removal of the Excavation Support System within the station box to accelerate construction of the Station. Work will take place in the Contractor Work Zone shown on the map below.
Work Hours
Construction activities will begin Monday, August 10 and will continue until Friday, August 14, 2015. Work hours will be continuous 24-hours a day. The City of Toronto normal working hours are 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. However, the City of Toronto has approved a noise by-law amendment for major transit projects which allows contractors to perform overnight and weekend work for the duration of the project, when required. Extended work hours are expected to occur within the hoarded construction site at York University until December 2015.
As construction continues at the York University Site, construction related notices will be issued.
