Off-Peak Lane Restrictions on Transit Only Traffic Bridge and Eastbound on York Boulevard at York University, April 15 to 18, 2014

April 11, 2014

Beginning on Tuesday, April 15 until Friday, April 18, 2014, there will be off-peak lane restrictions on eastbound York Boulevard between James Gillies Street and the TTC Busway, and on the transit bridge exiting from the Harry W. Arthurs Common at York University. The lane restrictions are for sanitary and storm sewer power washing and videotaping work. Flagging personnel will direct both directions of traffic through one lane on the traffic bridge and at the intersection of York Boulevard and James Gillies Street.

Construction Noise

There will be two vacuum trucks on campus during this work. The vacuum trucks will be working at various sewer access points around the construction site and outside the hoarding.

During the vacuum truck work there will be increased construction noise. Vacuum trucks are used to power wash the sewers and locate the underground utilities and excavate around them, if required.
