Installation of Tower Cranes in the Keele/Finch Neighbourhood

The first two of five tower cranes have been delivered and assembled at Finch West Station site, the remaining three cranes will be delivered and assembled by the end of July 2012 and will be in place for approximately two years.

Crane Locations:

• One crane will be located on the south/east corner of Keele and Finch.
• Three cranes will be located on the east side of Keele Street between Finch Avenue West and Murray Ross Parkway.
• One crane will be located on the north/east side of Keele Street just north of Murray Ross Parkway as shown in the graphic.

As the assembly takes place within the construction site there will be no impact to motorists or pedestrians in the community.

These tower cranes spport the transfer of building materials such as; reinforcing rods, concrete, electrical and mechanical equipment, into the excavation site in order to build the subway station.
