Overnight Concrete Pours for Finch West Station Keele-Finch Neighbourhood - Postponed

A series of overnight concrete pours will begin this coming Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at approximately 7:00 p.m. and continue until approximately 6:00 a.m. Thursday, June 14, 2012 at the Finch West Subway Station site on the north-east corner of Keele Street and Finch Avenue West.

This concrete pour is required to form a portion of the base of the future Finch West Station. A large quantity of concrete will be poured over this time period.

During these overnight concrete pours there will be some construction noise related to construction vehicles backing-up. Every effort will be made by the contractor to minimize construction noise.
As the station construction progresses, additional pours will occur that may involve overnight work. Notices will be provided prior to any future overnight work.

This work is weather dependant and therefore dates are subject to change.
