Intermittent Pedestrian Walkway Closures, York University Station Site
January 26, 2012
Short intermittent closures of the pedestrian walkway through the York University station construction site will be in effect over the next few months. These closures may occur approximately 3 to 4 times per day, for up to 10 minutes, maximum.
During these intermittent closures, flag personnel will be stationed at either end of the walkway redirecting pedestrian traffic to alternate pathways and connections through the York Research Tower, adjacent to Archives of Ontario and the York Lanes building. These closures are a necessary precaution to ensure the safety of the students, the community and the pedestrians during certain lifting operations on site.
Thank you for your co-operation and patience during this time.
