Pedestrian Sidewalk Closed along James Gillies Street for Shaft Excavation

Starting December 7th and for the remainder of December 2011, the pedestrian sidewalk located east of the Seymour Schulich Building and adjacent to the subway construction site on James Gillies Street will be closed.
As work crews begin shaft excavation, adjacent to the Schulich Building during the hours of 7:00am to 5:00pm, the sidewalk will be closed to ensure the safety of pedestrians. During this closure, pedestrians will need to follow the posted signs and use the diverted path through the Schulich Building.
Traffic control personnel will help ensure safe movement of pedestrians and vehicular traffic in this area.
