TBM "Torkie" Crosses Ottawa Road Under York University

In February the Tunnel Boring Machine “Torkie” started tunnelling operations from the launch shaft at the Steeles West Station site and began its path toward the Finch West Station site. Torkie has completed the milestone of crossing under Ottawa Road on the York University campus. Torkie has completed 40% of its first drive.
