Update: TBM “Holey” Crosses Toro Road under Keele Street

Last summer the Tunnel Boring Machine “Holey” began tunnelling operations from the launch shaft at the Sheppard West Station site and is headed towards our Finch West Station site. “Holey” has just completed the milestone of crossing under Toro Road at Keele Street. “Holey” has tunnelled over 80% of the first drive and is anticipated to break through the headwall at our extraction shaft on Keele Street south of Finch Avenue West in late April.
