About this neigbourhood
Finch West Station will be constructed in this neighbourhood, to be located under Keele Street north of Finch Avenue West. Finch West Station will include a bus terminal on the east side of Keele Street, north of Finch Avenue West. The main entrance to the subway station will be located on the west side of Keele Street, north of Finch Avenue West. Tunnel boring machine Holey and Moley, will finish their drilling just south of Finch Avenue West. Tunnel boring machines Yorkie and Torkie will drill south from Steeles Avenue West and will complete their drilling just north of the Finch Hydro Corridor.

July 21, 2011The third major construction contract for the Toronto-York Spadina Subway Extension (TYSSE) project was awarded in June 2011 to Bondfield Construction Co. for Finch West Station which will be located under Keele Street north of Finch Ave.

Finch West Station Fire Hall Construction Update
December 2, 2010Construction of a new building for Toronto Fire Hall No. 141 began in July. This work is part of the Toronto-York Spadina Subway Extension (TYSSE) project and is necessary for construction of the new Finch West Station.
