29 Dufferin - Bridge Structural Work
Route turning back north at Dufferin Gates Loop. Update.
Starting Wednesday, June 12, the Dufferin Street Bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic for structural work. The City will design a temporary bridge to accommodate traffic within 16-18 months. Construction of a permanent bridge will begin in 2016.
Bridge closure to March 2014
The Dufferin Street Bridge is currently closed for structural work.
Dufferin Street will now be closed south of Springhurst Avenue, blocking access to the temporary pedestrian bridge.
For the CNE, walk east on Liberty Street and south on Atlantic Avenue.
- During the bridge closure, all branches of the 29 DUFFERIN route will turn back north at the Dufferin Gates Loop.
- 316 OSSINGTON night bus will divert south on Strachan Avenue, looping at the CNE Eastern Entrance streetcar loop. Buses then divert, as route 329 DUFFERIN, north on Strachan, west on East Liberty Street, west on Liberty Street, south on Dufferin west on Springhurst Avenue, looping at Dufferin Loop. Buses then run north on Dufferin Street.
- 329 DUFFERIN night bus will divert south on Dufferin Street, west on Springhurst Avenue, looping at Dufferin Loop, then divert north on Dufferin, east on Liberty Street, east on East Liberty Street, south on Strachan Avenue, looping via the CNE Eastern Entrance streetcar loop. Buses then divert, as 316 OSSINGTON, north on Strachan Avenue, west on King and north on Shaw.
