Construction update - September 10, 2019

On Friday, September 13 shortly after Thursday bus service ends at Wellesley Station, TTC will be conducting a concrete pour inside of the bus loop related to the elevator project. The bus loop will be closed between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m. The concrete pour will take place in the middle of the bus loop. The concrete truck will enter from the east roadway.

For safety, the concrete pour will take place overnight and into the early morning when there are no / minimal customers and buses at the station. Efforts will be made to keep noise levels to a minimum.

TTC service - September 13, 2 a.m. to 9 a.m.

During the bus loop closure, regular scheduled 94A/B Wellesley buses will serve customers on Wellesley Street. Buses will resume operations inside of the bus loop shortly after 9 a.m.

The bus loop was closed April 2018 and re-opened late June 2019. Elevator shaft construction continues inside the station.

Visit the Wellesley Station project page for further information on other improvements including second exits.
