Old Mill Station - roof rehabilitation
May 15 to December 2017
TTC will be replacing the roof over the station and the platform area as noted in the graphic. As a requirement of the Toronto Green Standard, TTC will be installing a "cool white roof". This system will help reduce energy use through the summer by reflecting the sun’s rays. In addition to its energy-saving features, the roof will help reduce UV degradation of the membrane, resulting in longer service life.
Construction hoarding will be in place to protect customers from the work area.
Efforts will be made to have the work completed as quickly and as safely as possible.
All work is scheduled to take place during the day with no interruption to station operation or access.
