Don Mills Station - bus transfer level ventilation upgrades
April 2017 to early 2019
Work description and purpose
Starting in April, TTC will be working at Don Mills Station to improve the ventilation system throughout the bus transfer level. The project includes upgrading the existing fans, duct and sprinkler systems. Some lighting improvements will also be completed. This project is scheduled for completion in early 2019.
To safely complete this project while maintaining regular bus service at the station, work will take place in several phases. Each phase will require the temporary closure of bus bays and a minor reduction of passenger platform space. Signs will be posted in advance of bus bay reallocation.
All work will be contained within the bus transfer level. Delivery of supplies and removal of refuse will be facilitated through the bus entrance on Don Mills Road.
While the majority of the work will take place during the daytime, key phases of the project are required to be conducted overnight when the station is closed.
Don Mills Station will remain fully operational and regular service will be maintained during all phases of the project.
Thank you for your patience as we work to improve transit in Toronto.
