Detailed description for 508 Lake Shore
The 508 Lake Shore streetcar route operates between Long Branch Loop and the area of King Street East and Church Street, generally in an east-west direction. It also serves the St. Andrew and King Stations on the Yonge-University-Spadina Subway.
Two services are operated. The 508 (Long Branch-Parliament) morning branch operates three EASTBOUND ONLY trips during the morning peak period, from Monday to Friday only. The 508 (Church-Long Branch) afternoon branch operates four WESTBOUND ONLY trips during the afternoon peak period, from Monday to Friday only.
Eastbound 508 PARLIAMENT VIA KING
During the morning peak period from Monday to Friday only, these streetcars operate from Long Branch Loop (on the north side of Lake Shore Boulevard West, west of Browns Line) via east and northeast on Lake Shore Boulevard West, through Humber Loop, continuing east on The Queensway to Roncesvalles Avenue, then southeast and east on King Street West, and east on King Street East to Parliament Street.
Westbound 508 LONG BRANCH
During the afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday only, these streetcars operate from Queen Street East and Church Street via south on Church Street, west on King Street East, west and northwest on King Street West, west on The Queensway, through Humber Loop, and continuing southwest and west on Lake Shore Boulevard West to Long Branch Loop.
All streetcars on the route serve local streetcar stops along the route.
