Service begins September 3, 2019

The 508 Lake Shore streetcar route operates between Long Branch Loop and the area of King Street East and Parliament Street, generally in an east-west direction. It also serves the St. Andrew and King Stations on Line 1 Yonge-University. Service is operated with low-floor, accessible streetcars.

Two services are operated.  The 508 (Long Branch-Parliament) morning branch operates five Eastbound only trips during the morning peak period, from Monday to Friday only.  The 508 (Parliament-Long Branch) afternoon branch operates five Westbound only trips during the afternoon peak period, from Monday to Friday only.

Eastbound 508 Lake Shore / Parliament via King

During the morning peak period from Monday to Friday only, these streetcars operate from Long Branch Loop (on the north side of Lake Shore Boulevard West, west of Browns Line) via east and northeast on Lake Shore Boulevard West, through Humber Loop, continuing east on The Queensway to Roncesvalles Avenue, then southeast and east on King Street West, and east on King Street East to Parliament Street.

Westbound 508 Lake Shore / Long Branch

During the afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday only, these streetcars operate from Parliament Street and King Street East via west on King Street East, west and northwest on King Street West, west on The Queensway, through Humber Loop, and continuing southwest and west on Lake Shore Boulevard West to Long Branch Loop.

All streetcars on the route serve local streetcar stops along the route.
