Detailed description for 501 Queen

The 501 Queen streetcar route operates between Neville Park Loop and Long Branch Loop, generally in an east-west direction. It serves Queen and Osgoode Stations on Line 1 Yonge-University. Both Queen and Osgoode Stations are accessible subway stations.

The route is part of the 10 Minute Network, and operates 10 minutes or better, all day, every day.

During the daytime and early evening, seven days a week, two services are operated:

  • 501 (Humber-Neville Park)
  • 501 (Long Branch-Humber)

During the late evening, a single service operates: 501 (Long Branch-Neville Park).

Westbound 501 (Neville Park to Humber)

Streetcars operate from Neville Park Loop (on the southwest corner of Queen Street East and Nursewood Road) via west on Queen Street East, west on Queen Street West and west on The Queensway to Humber Loop.

Eastbound 501 (Humber to Neville Park)

Streetcars operate from Humber Loop via east on The Queensway, east on Queen Street West, and east on Queen Street East to Neville Park Loop.

Westbound 501 (Humber to Long Branch)

Streetcars operate from Ellis Avenue and The Queensway, via west on The Queensway, and west on Lake Shore Blvd West to Long Branch Loop.

Eastbound 501 (Long Branch to Humber)

Streetcars operate from Long Branch Loop via east on Lake Shore Boulevard West to Humber Loop.

Westbound 501 (Neville Park to Long Branch)

Streetcars operate from Neville Park Loop (on the southwest corner of Queen Street East and Nursewood Road) via west on Queen Street East, west on Queen Street West and west on The Queensway, through Humber Loop, west on Lake Shore Blvd West to Long Branch Loop.

Eastbound 501 (Long Branch to Neville Park)

Streetcars operate from Long Branch Loop via east on Lake Shore Boulevard West, through Humber Loop, east on The Queensway, east on Queen Street West, and east on Queen Street East to Neville Park Loop.

All streetcars on the route serve local stops along the route.
