404 East York

The 404 East York Community Bus route provides accessible service in the East York area.  It operates between the area of Coxwell Avenue and Mortimer Avenue, Victoria Park Station on the Bloor-Danforth Subway, and Shoppers World Plaza, generally in an east-west direction. Victoria Park Station is an accessible subway station.

One single service is operated:  the 404 (East General Hospital-Shoppers World via Victoria Park Stn) branch operates from approximately 9:30 am to 6:00 pm, from Monday to Friday only.

Eastbound 404 TO SHOPPERS WORLD

These Community Buses operate from Toronto East General Hospital via north on Coxwell Avenue, east on Mortimer Avenue, north on Woodbine Avenue, east on Ventnor Avenue, south on Rumney Road, east on Trenton Avenue, south on Cedarvale Avenue, east on Cosburn Avenue, north on Haldon Avenue to East York Acres, continuing south on Haldon Avenue, east on Cosburn Avenue, south on Westlake Avenue, east on Hamstead Avenue, south on Main Street, east on Lumsden Avenue, south on Eastdale Avenue, east on Secord Avenue, north on Dawes Road to True Davidson Acres, continuing north on Dawes Road, west on Gower Street to Gower Park Place, continuing east on Gower Street, south on Dawes Road, east on Crescent Town Road, south on Victoria Park Avenue, east on Denton Avenue, north on Victoria Park Avenue to Victoria Park Station, south on Victoria Park Avenue and west on Danforth Avenue to Shoppers World Plaza.

Westbound 404 TO COXWELL

These Community Buses operate from Shoppers World Plaza via north on Victoria Park Avenue and east on Denton Avenue to Victoria Park Station, continuing north on Victoria Park Avenue, west on Crescent Town Road, north on Dawes Road, west on Gower Street to Gower Park Place, continuing east on Gower Street, south on Dawes Road to True Davidson Acres, continuing south on Dawes Road, west on Secord Avenue, north on Eastdale Avenue, west on Lumsden Avenue, north on Main Street, west on Hamstead Avenue, north on Westlake Avenue, west on Cosburn Avenue, north on Haldon Avenue to East York Acres, continuing south on Haldon Avenue, west on Cosburn Avenue, north on Cedarvale Avenue, west on Trenton Avenue, north on Rumney Road, west on Ventnor Avenue, south on Woodbine Avenue, west on Mortimer Avenue, south on Monarch Park Avenue, east on Sammon Avenue, and north on Coxwell Avenue to Toronto East General Hospital.

All Community Buses on the route serve local bus stops along the route, but they can also be flagged down at ANY point along the route.
