All TTC buses (except Community and Wheel-Trans buses) have bike racks so that you can bring your bike with you on your journey. Depending on the bus type, bike racks can hold one or two bikes. The racks are easy to load and unload, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

All accessories must be removed from the bike prior to loading as they may impede operators' sight lines. Please remove water bottles, air pumps, panniers, child carriers, solid baskets, bags and other loose items before boarding. The Operator has the right to refuse use of the bike rack to keep clear sightlines.

106 York University to be renamed 106 Sentinel

The 106 York University bus route operates between Sheppard West Station on Line 1Yonge-Universityand the York University campus, generally in an east-west direction. Accessible service is provided on the route. Sheppard West Station is an accessible subway station. Bike racks are available on this route.

One single service is operated: the 106 (Sheppard West Stn-York University) branch operates at all times, seven days a week.


These buses operate from Sheppard West Station via west on Sheppard Avenue West, north on Sentinel Road, then looping clockwise via west and north on The Pond Road, and east and south on Ian Macdonald Boulevard to York University Common Area (north side).

Eastbound 106 TO Sheppard West STN

These buses operate from York University Common Area via south on Ian Macdonald Boulevard, west on The Pond Road, south on Sentinel Road, and east on Sheppard Avenue West to Sheppard West Station.
