TTC service returns to Exhibition Loop this weekend

TTC buses and streetcars return to the Exhibition Loop at 5 a.m. this Saturday morning, Feb. 18.
- Update on TTC benefits fraud investigation: 73 employees fired to date
February 16, 2017 - A total of 73 TTC employees have been dismissed so far as part of a continuing investigation into an alleged benefits fraud that is also the focus of an ongoing criminal investigation by the Toronto Police Service.
- TTC Board to meet next Tuesday
February 15, 2017 - The TTC Board will hold its next meeting on Tues., Feb. 21 at Toronto City Hall.
- TTC tunnel work on Queens Quay this weekend
February 9, 2017 - This weekend, shuttle buses will replace streetcars on the 509 Harbourfront route and portions of the 510/317 Spadina route as City of Toronto crews conduct a bridge inspection on Spadina Ave. and TTC crews perform overhead work in the Queens Quay tunnel.
- TTC conducting fire rescue exercise at Main Street Station
February 9, 2017 - This Sun., Feb. 12, from 3 - 7 a.m., the TTC and Toronto Fire Services (TFS) will conduct an emergency simulation at Main Street Station involving approximately 40 firefighters and more than ten fire vehicles parked at the station.

- TTC parking returns to Yorkdale tomorrow
January 31, 2017 - Starting tomorrow morning, Feb. 1, TTC customers will have access to the newly renovated and upgraded parking lot at Yorkdale Station.

January 27, 2017 - A special meeting of the TTC’s Human Resources and Labour Relations Committee will take place Fri., Jan. 27.
- Two men sentenced to jail in separate crimes against TTC employees
January 26, 2017 - A 22-year-old man was sentenced to seven years in prison for a string of robberies, including three against TTC collectors.
- TTC signal work closes part of Line 1 this weekend
January 18, 2017 - This weekend, Jan. 21-22, TTC crews will continue installation and testing of the new Automatic Train Control (ATC) signal system, requiring Line 1 Yonge-University to close between St George and Downsview stations.
Elevator Alert: North York Centre Station, southbound platform to concourse, out of service until mid-March due to Presto installation.
