Surface routes diverting for special events
Line 1 Yonge-University
This weekend, Sept. 10-11, Line 1 Yonge-University will be closed between Wilson and Downsview stations only as TTC crews undertake track and maintenance work. Shuttle buses will run frequently between these stations all weekend.
Wheel-Trans buses will operate upon request between Downsview and Lawrence West stations for those who need it. Customers can speak with any TTC staff member to request the service.
As PRESTO is not yet available on all buses, customers should carry tokens, tickets or cash in case the shuttle is not yet PRESTO-equipped.
Full subway service resumes Mon.,Sept. 12 at 6 a.m. The next scheduled subway closures are:

- Line 2 Bloor-Danforth: Pape to St George – Oct. 8-10
Maintaining and modernizing transit infrastructure is critical to ensuring the TTC remains a safe and reliable transit system for its 1.8 million daily riders. The TTC thanks its customers, Toronto residents and businesses, and the public for their patience and understanding.
