  • TTC diversions for GoodLife Fitness Toronto Marathon
    April 30, 2015
    Toronto Transit Commission service will divert on a number of bus and streetcar routes this Sunday, May 3
  • No TTC subway service to Union Station this weekend
    April 29, 2015 - Subway trains will bypass Union Station this weekend, May 2 - 3 as the Toronto Transit Commission continues work on the station’s new second platform. This will be the last service disruption associated with this project.
  • TTC recruits for Customer Liaison Panel
    April 27, 2015 - The Toronto Transit Commission is recruiting new members to serve on its Customer Liaison Panel. The panel was established in 2011 to help transform the TTC into a customer-focused transit system that makes Toronto proud.
  • TTC’s 510 Spadina buses and 306-506 Carlton streetcars to resume regular routing
    April 24, 2015 - On Monday, April 27, at 6 a.m. the Toronto Transit Commission and City of Toronto will have completed track and road upgrades at Spadina Ave. and College St., restoring 510 Spadina replacement bus and 306-506 Carlton streetcar service through the intersection.
  • No service on TTC's Line 3 this weekend
    April 22, 2015 - There will be no service on Line 3 (Scarborough RT) this weekend, April 25-26 as the Toronto Transit Commission replaces 366 metres of track, installs new communication cables and tests the power supplies.
  • TTC invites customers to have a say in international subway survey
    April 20, 2015 - Toronto Transit Commission customers are being asked to participate in an anonymous, online international customer satisfaction survey to identify areas of Toronto’s subway system that they believe is working well or needs improvement.
  • Some TTC routes to divert for construction this weekend
    April 16, 2015 - This weekend, bus service into the Toronto Transit Commission’s Eglinton West Station will be restricted due to the closure of Eglinton Ave. W. from Bathurst St. to Marlee Ave. for Metrolinx construction
  • TTC, Bechtel sign project management contract
    April 13, 2015 - The Toronto Transit Commission has entered into an agreement with Bechtel Canada Co. for project management of the Toronto-York Spadina Subway Extension (TYSSE) for up to $80 million.
  • Wi-Fi installation in downtown TTC subway stations complete
    April 9, 2015 - The Toronto Transit Commission and BAI Canada have completed installation for free Wi-Fi service at all subway stations in the downtown "U."
  • No service from Union to St Andrew stations on TTC's Line 1 this weekend
    April 9, 2015 - This weekend, on Sat., April 11 and Sun., April 12, there will be no subway service between Union and St Andrew stations
  • New and historic TTC streetcars to take part in Easter parade
    April 2, 2015 - The Toronto Transit Commission's new low-floor streetcar will make its second appearance in the annual Toronto Beaches Lions Easter Parade this Sunday, April 5, at 2 p.m.
  • Fifth new TTC streetcar enters service
    April 2, 2015 - The Toronto Transit Commission’s fifth new low-floor streetcar, car number 4406 entered regular service on April 1, on the 509 Harbourfront route while the 510 Spadina route uses buses during construction at the intersection of College and Spadina.
  • TTC statement on actions by Transit Enforcement Officers
    April 1, 2015 - Toronto Transit Commission CEO Andy Byford has requested, through Toronto Police Chief Bill Blair, that the Toronto Police Service review an incident that occurred between Transit Enforcement Officers (TEOs) and members of the public on the evening of Jan. 29 at Union Station.
