Reminder, TTC fares to increase Jan. 1

The TTC is reminding customers that most TTC fares will increase on Tuesday, January 1, 2013. For the new fare schedule, go to www.ttc.ca.
Refunds for 2012 TTC Senior/Student tickets and Day Passes can be made at the following locations.
- January 2 to December 31, 2013 at the TTC MDP Office, 1900 Yonge Street (above the Davisville Subway Station) Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m.- 5 p.m. Extended hours, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. every Thursday and the first and last business day of each month. Closed on statutory holidays.
- January 2 to February 28, 2013, Bloor-Yonge Station, Collector Booth (Bloor Street southside entrance) Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- February 1 to February 28, 2013, Kipling, Warden, Finch and Downsview Stations, Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- By mail, starting January 2, 2013. TTC Accounts Payable, 1900 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON M4S 1Z2. Please allow 6-8 weeks for refund.
Effective January 1, 2013, an extra 5 cents cash fare will be required when using 2012 TTC Senior/Student tickets.
Effective March 1, 2013, 2012 Senior/Student tickets and Day Passes cannot be used. Senior/Student tickets and Day Passes purchased prior to 2012 cannot be used at any time and will not be refunded.
