TTC announces service improvements

Beginning this Sunday, November 23, customers of the Toronto Transit Commission will now be able to take almost any bus route in the city between approximately 6 a.m. and 1 a.m., seven days a week.

November 13, 2008 - Santa Claus arrives in Toronto this Sunday for the annual Santa Claus Parade, and the TTC is providing extra service for families and groups attending the parade.

November 10, 2008 - The TTC will join in honouring the nation’s veterans tomorrow morning, November 11, by bringing all of its vehicles to a halt at 11:00 a.m.
- Decorated Canadian war and peacekeeping veterans can ride the TTC for free on Remembrance Day
November 7, 2008 - On Tuesday, November 11 – Remembrance Day – decorated Canadian war and peacekeeping veterans will be able to ride the TTC for free.

November 7, 2008 - Toronto Transit Commission Chair, Adam Giambrone, today spoke out on the issue of operator assaults, telling Torontonians, TTC customers and TTC employees that criminal acts, such as threatening, punching or spitting on an operator, or another passenger, will not be tolerated.
