   What is the MDP?

The Metropass Discount Plan lets you buy your Metropass in advance for 12 consecutive months.

   Features and benefits of the Metropass Discount Plan.

  • Canada Post mails your passes by regular mail approximately two weeks before the first of the month. You should receive your pass three days after it is mailed.
  • We debit your bank account on the first day of every month.
  • The plan is automatically renewed.
  • The plan also enables you to order a Downtown Express Fare sticker for your passes.
  • You have the option of paying for your entire subscription in advance by cash, debit, Mastercard, Visa, certified cheque or money order made payable to: Toronto Transit Commission. You can pay in person at our Head Office, or you can mail it to us.

   How do I contact the MDP Office?

The Metropass Discount Plan Office is located at 1900 Yonge Street (above the Davisville Subway Station). We are located on the Main Floor of TTC Head Office. Please bring photo ID for verification purposes.

   How do I get a tax credit for my Metropass?

  • Keep your TTC pass as proof of purchase and for verification. Your tax credit amount depends on your individual tax situation and applicable tax rate. The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is responsible for taxation details; contact the CRA at www.cra.gc.ca for details.

If your pass is defective please visit the Metropass Discount Plan Office and we will exchange the pass for you.

Bring a TTC or Drivers Licence photo ID for verification purposes.

   How to obtain a TTC Photo ID

You can buy your TTC Photo ID card at the Sherbourne Station Photo ID Centre.

  • If you are a Senior and want to purchase a TTC Photo ID Card, you must provide documentation with your date of birth showing that you are 65. You also need proof of your address showing that you are an Ontario resident.
  • You can apply for a Student Discount Card if you are between 13 and 19 years of age inclusive.

Can I submit my form electronically?

You are required to print and sign the form. The form must also be submitted with a void cheque.

  • You can fill out the MDP Application Form online.
  • Print and sign your completed form.
  • Scan the signed form and a void cheque.
  • Email the scanned, signed form and scanned void cheque to mdp@ttc.ca.
